ProLicht makes brands visible. We are Europe’s leading manufacturer of illuminated signage and signage elements of all kinds for your brand and corporate image. Our customers range from major international brands in the automotive, oil and retail sectors to small and medium-sized companies in the region. ProLicht’s services range from planning and production to the finished installation. We stand for the highest quality, precision and excellent customer service.

With our six locations and two sales partners in Europe and an international partner network, we are able to implement even complex requirements reliably and on time worldwide. We continuously invest in our machinery and provide 95% of all services in-house. This enables us to guarantee modern technological standards and cost-effectiveness.

Founded over 30 years ago in Hildesheim, #teamprolicht stands for continuity and a strong sense of community. We are committed to a sustainable economy and our social responsibility. As a training company, we are particularly involved in youth work – with regional initiatives and clubs.

Our history

The ProLicht Group has been owner-managed from the very beginning. This is an important basis for the continuity of the company’s development. At the same time, it creates a family environment in which highly motivated employees with state-of-the-art technologies stand for today’s success and future growth.

What began with five employees has developed into an internationally active group of companies with currently 710 employees.

Every success story has a timeline.

  • 1993 – Foundation of the company in Hildesheim

  • 1995 – Construction of our largest production site in Ozimek, Poland with a current production area of 25,000 square meters

  • 2004 – Establishment of the subsidiary in Great Britain

  • 2007/2008 – Foundation of the production plant in Budapest, Hungary

  • 2012 – Opening of the sales location in Romania

  • 2013 – Foundation of ProLicht Iberia S.r.l. in Spain, Barcelona

  • 2021 – Change of ownership

  • 2023 – Strategic partnership with NASIMA, Switzerland

  • 2024 – Foundation of the company ProLicht Energy

Sustainability & responsibility

Sustainability is a central element of our business strategy. We achieve economic success in harmony with ecological and social responsibility.

Whether resource-saving use of materials, CO₂-reduced mobility or energy from renewable sources: Sustainability is firmly anchored in our processes and standards. Environmental protection, occupational health and safety and quality management are certified.

We primarily rely on regional and European suppliers who are bound by clear guidelines on the environment, human rights and working conditions.

We constantly invest in the training and further education of our employees – in order to deepen specialist knowledge and further strengthen sustainable thinking within the company.

We are also socially committed, for example through our “ProLicht is committed” donation initiative and by supporting sports clubs.

Certified quality standards

We fulfil legal requirements and orient ourselves to the highest international standards. Our corporate guidelines, the ‘Code of Conduct’ and the ‘Modern Slavery Policy’ anchor sustainability standards throughout the Group.

In addition, we comply with requirements relating to the environment, human rights, compliance and supply chains through the Supplier Assurance Standard and our SAQ 5.0 rating. Clear guidelines apply to our suppliers.

In a world of globalized trade, we develop and produce complex corporate brand solutions for a large number of internationally active customers from the automotive, mineral oil and retail segments. We also take care of delivery, installation and maintenance on site.

  • Cooperation in the Global Signware Alliance – The Global Signware Alliance is an association of Blair Companies, Albert Smith Group and ProLicht, which are involved in the production of corporate brand solutions for illuminated advertising and complex advertising systems. As a member, the ProLicht Group is part of a global network of partners.
